This is the 12th year of the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival and it has been regarded as one of the nation’s most popular music festivals. The Jazz Festival is going on through June 29th so there is still a few days left for you to check it out. Starting in 2002, the festival only had roughly 15,000 people in attendance but that number has grown to 187,000 just last year. XRIJF uses several different buildings across the city for various performances. This festival appears to be gaining more attention every year and has also provided a positive economic impact for the city of Rochester.
